Floral Design for the Heart, Soul + Mind.

Join the Waitlist for Flowers and Feelings.

In these workshops, I bring you my personal mindful floral design methodology in a calm and cozy in person setting. Flowers and Feelings is a meditative floral design workshop for the deep feelers, the makers and the healers.

In these workshops, we not only play and create with beautiful flowers, we explore our inner landscape. Together we hold space for what exists within us, bringing mindfulness and awareness to our deeper emotions sitting beneath the surface through creation, reflection and meditation.

Each guest will be provided flowers, tools and additional supporting items to help you embark on an intentional, thoughtful and reflective experience, by pairing mindfulness prompts and techniques with the artful and therapeutic practice of floral design.

Learn. Create. Reflect. Connect.

Learn something new, create with your hands, reflect on your inner world, and connect with others.

Everything will be provided for you. All you have to do is come.

Just as you are.

In order to foster a calm and meditative environment, I am keeping it intimate!

A woman with short hair and tattoos on her arms is holding a bouquet of flowers while standing indoors near a wall with large vases filled with flowers on a table.

Sounds a bit woo-woo, right?

I’ll admit, I have been told I could classify as woo-woo adjacent. (hehe)

But hey, if that’s not you?

I totally get it, and it’s really more straight forward than it sounds:

All fluffy fluff aside, it’s about learning the basics of designing with flowers while using my mindful design method as a tool for quieting your busy mind and making some space for you — your thoughts, your feelings, whatever it is you’re bringing to the table.

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Janna - ex-wedding florist, new mom, and deep-feeling, squiggly-brained creative with a serious love for my craft.

If you’ve been following along on Instagram over the years, you’ve definitely witnessed me gabbin’ about mindful and meditative design and what it means to me.

I’ve been in the flower industry for 15 years, and while I’ve stayed super busy slinging retail flowers and mostly being booked-out with weddings year after year, my true love of floral design has always existed in the slow and quiet moments.

No demands,

No rushing,

Just me, my flowers and my feelings.

This practice has, time and time again, been a grounding ritual in my life for processing grief, burn out, hard emotions, life transitions, and even to reflect when I don’t quite know what I’m feeling.

It is my absolute joy to finally be sharing this with the world after over a decade of waiting.

Flowers and Feelings is my invitation to you.

Join me in slowing down, tending to your inner world, and enjoying together the process of creating with flowers in a mindful, meditative and meaningful way.

Come with your feelings, leave with some flowers.

FAQs

What does joining the waitlist mean for me?

Joining the waitlist doesn’t mean you’re purchasing or signing up for any workshops just yet. Being on the waitlist means you are the first in line to access to workshop tickets when the seats are very limited and may sell out fast!

Do I need floral design experience to participate?

You do not! I cover design foundations as part of my teaching.

Whether you’re a seasoned florist or you’ve never touched a flower in your life, you will get something out of this workshop. The only requirement is that you leave perfectionism at the door and come willing to get introspective, playful and curious.

Can I purchase a ticket on behalf of someone else?

Yes, absolutely! In fact this makes a great gift idea.

Will there be more dates in the future?

Definitely. I am building this workshop experience in real time and want to shape it around my guests, their feedback and how the experience plays out. I will be releasing exclusive dates as I go.

Do I have to be local to participate?

For these workshops, yes. Unless you want to travel a long way to attend! There are online classes coming soon to make this accessible to a broader audience! Taking baby steps to work with my current capacity, but I’m really excited for that, too. You can sign up for my newsletter to stay in touch.
